OK so I may just be miffed about my "egg" photo not scoring as well as i thought it should but i have a question.
Was my picture marked down because the voters thought i hadn't used an egg?

Being Welsh I knew what this was ! :-)
I rated it a 7 but I expect a lot of the Johnny Foreigner's here did not know what it was !

I knew what it was, but probably because I had a shot "suffer" a similar fate several years ago.
I wondered if some of the "quicker voters" just thought I had squished my foto badly.

Hi! My name is Johnny. I'm a Yank and I have odd shaped balls because I played rugby for 5 years! I probably received them from the match I played against the blokes from the HMS Juno. Don't think any of them were Welshies though...
I gave it a 7 for creativity.

Mike and Ed,
I showed the photo to one of the guys at work who plays rugby, he too has odd shaped balls. His first comment was "that balls a little small", i thought i had nailed it.
Ed, are you watching the Six Nations? (I guess you are Mike) England v Scotland and Wales v Ireland this week end all this and the first Grand Prix of the season... Can this weekend get any better :-)

I know it's no 'yolk' but you shouldn't be so 'cracked' up about this - at least there wasn't a 'scramble' to 'poach' your idea! I gave it eggxactly 6 for originality!
