...heartbroken........... Every time I use a flash outdoors (or with someone else who does) - I get a migraine...I can now no longer take the 4 days in bed with medication after a session

In the studio this is fine - as I am behind the camera and dont see much flash when the shutter goes down.

This happen to anyone else?

That's terrible. I've never heard of this, but it makes sense. I'll bet other migraine sufferers know just what you are talking about. I guess it would really suck if you are a member of the papparazi.

Hopefully this only happens after a long session with multiple flashes, and not just after one or two!

An odd thought, but it might work - have you tried wearing polarized sunglasses while shooting outdoors? It might help.

I did wonder about sunglasses so will try them.....
