Well I haven't posted much for a while - mostly because I've been really really busy, but also partly because I have been pretty bummed out about my photography.

We did the grad photos a few months back and I have only now just started to have time to get caught up with them. Here are some highlights.

It was nice to get a chance to take pictures of some of the people that have been a part of my life for the last 4 years and it is not just a little bittersweet as we are ploughing handily through the last semester. Just 2 more months to go before we all go our separate ways.

There has been a noticeable change in the atmosphere as the students build their buffer zones. This has been especially true for me and I am filled with strong melancholy as I work on the pics.

In spite of a good attempt and a bit of a rapport with a few of them, there is always a barrier between the only caucasian student (who happens to be about 10 years older than everyone else) and the local students. It will be harder for me to say goodbye than for them. I can already feel it.

Anyhow, enough nostalgia, please tell me your thoughts and criticisms.

Have I made any progress? How do these stack up in general? Where are my flaws in general?

Thank you for taking the time to speak your mind.

Just for the heck of it, I'm going to put up my photo story that I used my 30D for with some of the same classmates.

It's dumb and cheesy and is quite old now, but I think it's pretty fun too. I just never got around to putting it online until yesterday.

Have a peek and toss me some feedback. :)
