I'll be in 'NYC' tomorrow -- we're going to the Daily show, so we have to be there in line at 3:00. We'll probably get there around 1.
We're looking for suggestions on what to do or see in the winter for a couple of hours.
Thanks in advance!

Howdy :)
If you're a foodie... try the Chelsea Market . It's an indoor food market.//www.chelseamarket.com
There's a Mac store a few blocks from there and the Highline Park isn't too far //www.thehighline.org . But if you're short on time there are other more interesting things to see. A more pleasant outing once Spring comes.
If you're a fan of Man Ray //www.thejewishmuseum.org/exhibitions/manray That exhibition ends March 14th. Hope I can make it there.
The ICP. It's a very small museum but with constantly changing works

If the weather's good. For a great view...

Here's a similar thread -- hope you find it useful! Have fun, and if you pass the BMW building on 11th Avenue and 57th Street (not far from where they tape the daily show), wave at me!

Thanks. I'll have to look through the old thread too.
Anyone know if the sidewalks are clear now...do we need snow boots? I heard 'NYC' got almost 2 feet of snow! We don't even have that much up here. :)

No, no snowboots necessary today. But you've already found that out. Sorry I didn't see your question sooner, but it was posted past my bedtime. :-) |
