Glad to have the heads-up from Pineapple about the scanner surface. I'd have dumped almost anything on there to 'see what happens.'

Here's another and its fraternal twin from this morning's experimenting. It's a handful of grasses and some pansies I grabbed from the backyard. Yellow is a file folder. No Purple tinges. Maybe because the subject matter was closer and the lid was pretty much down?

Scanning things certainly shows up any bits of dust :)

Yes, dust is all over the place.
(Amazing what a little use of the blur tool can do to clean it up.)

found an old 8 1/2 x 11 transparency that I had printed a long time ago, consisting of red and yellow dots on a green background. stuck polished rocks and 3 flowers on it. Put some dark green material over all and pushed the button.

A little gaussian blur took care of the few dust specks.

This one bears more experimentation!

I'm glad you guys/gals are keeping this going. Keep the experiments coming.
