I just put together a light tent last night and took a few test shots. Still have some tweaking to do and all but what I am wondering now is which lens would you suggest I shoot with?

I have the following.
Canon 50mm f1.8
Canon 75-300mm f4-5.6 Not really an option for this style
Canon 28-135mm f3.5-5.6IS
Canon 18-55mm f4-5.6(kit lens)
Canon Canon 100mm f2.0 (Probably my best glass but the minimum focusing distance isn't great with shooting into a light tent.

I plan to start building up a stock portfolio as a hobby and potential real money earner down the road so what I am wondering is should I just use my 100mm prime or will one of the other lenses give me nice clear and sharp shots? I will be using a tripod as well as a shutter release cable so stability is not an issue in this aspect.

I'd give a try with the nifty fifty first. It's nice and sharp and probably the right focal length for most of what will fit in a light tent.

Thanks for the reply,. I used the 100 on the test shots and while it is my best glass the focal length is a bit long in my small place. Do you suggest I stick with the prime lenses for this style of shooting though? I imagine a prime will give me a shaper shot compared to a zoom.

I like to use the 50mm when shooting stuff at that sort of distance. No reason you can't try several of them, and then you will know which one works best for the purpose.
