Okay, so I just got a MAC and PhotoshopCS4(I know, late to the party huh?) and we had a beautiful sunset tonight so I quickly took some shots and started playing with my new toy. I captured this in RAW and converted and tweaked the colors. I am so new to this that I can't honestly tell you every step I took. Any critiques, good or bad, would be helpful and welcome. Thank you.

Enjoy your new toys. Left you this message so your pic will appear on the recently commented page......"Hi Kris, Nicely framed. I do see a spot just above vertical center and about 20% from the left. The colors are wonderful." |

I like the result. Nicely done colors, not over-emphasized. You held detail in the trees nicely, though they might be a little sharper. A little tweaking of your resizing methods would help that. One thing that bothered me a little is the softness of the sky. It seemed like there should be some more detail there. |

It would be useful to see the original unedited photo as well. Any chance you can post the original? |
