I have an image that I want to make large. I want one of those big black borders with the title and my name on the botom. The original image is a 5mp image. my question is, if I want it to be 16x20, do I create a new file at 16x20 and make a border, then insert the picture? That seems like the way to do it, but won't that make a HUGE file? would I be able to upload that big of a file to DPC prints? any tips would help.

ok, what you have to do is make a 'placeholder' in your portfolio. Make your huge file first however you desire, and save it. then resize it down to DPC size and save it again. Insert the DPC size one in your portfolio, and then go to the photo page in your portfolio, scroll down to where it says upload a printable file, and then upload the huge file. Takes a few seconds for that. also when creating 16x20 in photoshop make sure its not set at the default 72 dpi for monitors.

The size limit for the printable image file is 16MB -- a 16x20 image with a a border will more likely end up under 10MB, so it should be fine.
