Hi All,
I used my less-than-one-month-old 5D Mark II in the snow today. First time it was used in any sort of moisture. Didn't take long before a water bubble appeared under the top LCD glass, directly above where the autofocus mode selection indicator is (on the right side).

Upon further review there is a discoloration directly to the right of where the bubble appeared between the top glass and the magnesium case. I called Canon tech support and they confirmed this should not happen and is a defect, and offered to have it repaired free of charge with free shipping.

So I have two questions: has anyone else seen this?

And, considering it is brand new, should I accept the repair or push for a brand new replacement? The camera was ordered at Adorama.

Thanks in advance,
Chris
