One other note,

For the Epson R1800 printer, the Epson driver only works with a USB connection so cannot be used when connecting via the network. The Gutenprint driver must be used. Also, the Gutenprint driver assumes the source document to be in the sRGB colourspace so you can't use a proper colour managed workflow for this printer when it is accessed over the network, only on the main computer where it is connected via USB.

Though there doesn't appear to be a way to turn off ICM in the MAC USB driver for the Epson R1800 printer.

Also, couldn't find a way to turn off colour management in the Canon iP6700D MAC driver so on MAC the only option is to have the printer manage the colours. At least as far as I can tell at the moment.
