Just got a film scanner and I'm very impressed with it offhand. However, I can't for the life of me recall the name of this castle in the picture that I did my first test scan on. It ought to be within a couple of hours drive of the Mildenhall/Lakenheath area. Does anyone recognize it?

Yup, that's it, thanks, folks. Now I need to locate all my other negatives from Germany and England. I've already found the baby in the bathtub pics and am threatening my kids with them.

Yep Orford, just down the road from me, it has gorgeous views over the estuarys. This was the first place I ever got stitches. We where all dressed in potatoe sacks recreating the Saxon times, I feel down the hill onto a broken beer bottle. Ended up with 5 stitches in my knee and my teacher saw my butt when they gave me a tetnas shot. I was 11 and mortified to all hell cos I also had a crush on him. So that is my story of Orford Castle

Glad my photo could bring back such "fond memories" for you. Anything of interest happen to you at Castle Rising? I have some negatives of that hiding out in a box somewhere.
