I visited professional photographer Brian Kosoff's website several months ago, and left a comment that I admired his work. In fact, a few of my photos were 'inspired' by his style, like these:

He finally wrote me back today, and had some good things to say about my work. He singled out this photo as one of his favorites, and commented on it positively:

So that was an exciting moment in my day!

It makes my day when you make a positive comment on one of my entries, David. I'm also inspired, by your work and many others here at DPC. Thanks for your kind words.

I also have been watching your work for some time. You have a tendacy to make me think. I don't always agree with how you 'process' your shots, but your success can not be argued with.

I was definatly thinking of your work when I PS'd this shot:

It was inspired by your entry in the Soft Focus Challenge.

That's a cool shot, Ron. The thumbnail looks like a train track; I was delighted to open it up and see a lovely stairway on a misty day!

I really liked your "Fortune Magazine" photo, it's so creative and well done. I also got a comment from you in "Threes" which is inspiring considering it's not doing that well. So I guess I'm doing something right. :D
