Hellooo there.

I hate starting threads cos I always think people will ignore me, lol, its as bad as standing up in front of people and talking!!

So, diabetics. I am one, a type 2 so my life isnt as hard as some others, I am a member of a support forum here in the UK & we are starting a campaign about diet drinks. For diabetics drinking in pubs, restaurants etc is a bit of a pain as diet drink choice is limited & staff seem to be unaware of the consequences of serving the wrong kind of drink.
You serve non-diet to someone who is trying to loose weight or just prefers the taste & the consequences arent huge. Give a diabetic the wrong variety & they can be!

We have a facebook group that has been going less than a day & already has 100 members, please come and join up and help us campaign for

1) A better selection of diet soft drinks, which benefits everyone, not just people with diabetes

2) More care and attention when serving diet drinks.
