I received many inquires regarding my photo "Festival Spirit" submitted for the Best of 2009 Challenge on what the photo is about and where did I took the photo so here's an update I got from the Aliwan website regarding this years schedule of the event.

Aliwan Fiesta 2010 has been scheduled for April 22-24, 2010 in Manila, Philippines. Plans are being considered to involve the Mall or Asia as kick off point for the parade, with the street dance showdown taking place in front of the Aliw Theater on Sotto Street, where the awarding ceremonies will follow immediately after.
