Drake has captured the epitome of {{{cold}}} with his dynamic Lake Michigan lighthouse images. These are some of the best I've seen. However, his versatility is quite amazing as depicted in his warmer imagery. Drake is a true artist.

Thanks for the kind words!
As an Engineer, it is a continual challenge for me to take the "artsy" shots - vs. the mechanical, forcefull images.
The DPC challenges are a great help for me in "getting outside the box". Thanks again, Drake |

I love the fact that you are an Engineer, it really can show through in some of your work. The leading lines, the patterns of the lines, are really bringing emphasis to your shots, you bring in another element to these photos. Your shots of the same lighthouse, could very well just be the same old lighthouse, but when you are bringing in the lines it gives the shot a whole new approach.
(did any of that make the least bit of sense??) |
