I just noticed a printer icon near one of my images and as I was editing info I noticed a message that said "You've uploaded a printable file...", etc. What was it about this file that triggered that message? I'd like to know what I did so I can do it again. :D Was it the size of the file in kbs?

Thanks for the link. I should have looked for that first. I'm still not clear on why this print was singled out. Does this message come up automatically when the print is uploaded? I uploaded a very similar print today. In fact, it's the very same photo but with different hue/saturation levels. I may have saved it at a lower quality, however. Is this the difference?

This is the print with the printer icon:

Just a hunch here. Note that in your portfolio, there is a separate upload area for "printable" files. Perhaps you clicked unknowingly on that link and uploaded a file to that area?

Now, I'm very new at the printable file thing myself, so perhaps I'm wrong and anytime you upload a high-res file, it automatically gets tagged as "printable".

But in that particular portfolio entry, near the bottom, you'll see controls dedicated to the printable file feature, which includes ordering prints, selling them on DPCPrints, etc.

Hope that helps. If not, feel free to elaborate, and I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I can help out!
