If it makes you feel any better, I think the use of multiple light sources is a lot more apparent in your shot than the entry that finished 4th.
I guess you just weren't as pretty- maybe a pink hat? ;-) |

I disagree completely, the multiple light sources were very obvious and key to the type of image he got. With a different lighting situation he would have gotten a completely different look and feel. It clearly meets the challenge to me. |

Yes, this is what I have been thinking too. I expected people to make the multiple light sources idea more central to the photo rather than just use that technique in some random photo. That was important for me in this contest. |

I gave you a 5. That's an average score from me. I don't think you are ugly. ;D I confess I didn't like the turned up collar or the shirt. I probably scored you lower than you deserved because of a difference in fashion taste. My bad. I give a five when I think the photo is technically good but I just don't care for it for whatever reason.
You did better than me, at any rate. I ranked 16th %. My second lowest ranking.
