Why does this suddenly have 1400 views? I mean its ok but its the second most viewed shot in my portfolio which I really find strange.

Everybody was thirsty.
It's been picked up by someone on Flikr or a similar sharing site. Try a Tineye or Google Alert for it, and maybe you will find it.

The "still life with fruit" challenge was just started....it does fall into that catagory. Maybe people are using it for inspiration???

Your picture has been added to StumbleUpon.
For those who don't know what it is, it's an Add-On for Firefox that will generate a liked website based on your interests. Therefore, thousands of people with "photography" selected as one of their interests will use StumbleUpon and get a link to your photo. That's why its got so many views...
