is this filter/action legal for basic editing ? it affects the total image its under "photo" thanks

There is no definitive list for what is legal and what isn't. For the most part it's how you use a tool that will determine whether it's legal or not. Gaussian blur is legal when applied to the entire image as long as you don't use it to create something new in the image. Same would apply to any other otherwise legal filter.
Sending a ticket to the SC would be the quickest way to get them to weigh in on the subject of this particular filter. |

What she said :-) Was about to say the same thing. Used to be "glow" was definitely verboten on basic principles, but nwo the measure of it is, are you creating an "effect"? If you really set things a'glowing, you definitely are creating an effect, but in moderation I'd guess it's as OK as anything else.
Sc would be better-informed of course.

thanks guys, I know the rules are a little vague at times, I think this time I will err on the side of caution and not use it. I will contact Sc and get a definitive answer thanks again.
