My husband and I spent Memorial Weekend in Page, AZ at Lake Powell. We took some time out for a few short hiking trips. I must not have been in a 'photo mood', I didn't get as many good shots as I had hoped for. Anyway, here's a link to some of the pictures: Page, AZ
I may add a few more after I pass through the lot of pictures again.
Comments/critiques helpful and appreciated.
Also, IMG # 6508 I was going to use in the Threes challenge, but forgot it ended on Sunday. How do you think it would have done?

One of my places marked as "exceptional!" Your images show the wonderful colors and lightng. Did you go to either upper or lower Antelope Canyon?

We try to go every year up to the Page area and hike somewhere different.
This year we rented a boat to get to Rainbow Bridge and because it's so far away it was a straight shot there and back in order to return in time, so I didn't have an opportunity to take many pictures. Next year our goal will be to explore the side canyons on the lake and go to Lower Antelope Canyon...
Tom, since we had our dogs with us this year we unfortunately weren't able to go to Antelope Canyon. That was our plan, but our dog sitter fell through the evening before we left. It's ok though, we were able to explore some places we otherwise would not have found. |
