Hey Everyone!
Just thought I'd stop by and kinda introduce myself.

I've joined DPC to try and better my photography. Seems the first thing I'm gonna have to learn is how to re-size a photo. I've been trying to resize a pic to use on my profile but I just can't seem to make it happen.

I've been married to my best friend for 23 years now. We have 3 handsome sons, who are pretty much grown (or think they are anyway lol).

I'm very excited to be part of DPC and am looking forward to entering some challenges.

Peace Out!

Welcome aboard! This FAQ might be helpful. And this guide is entertaining if not educational.

Have fun!

Welcome! You've come to the right place to learn, it's a great site for that. Get involved in challenges / side challenges etc straight away, it's loads of fun and I've learned loads in the last year from it!

Looking at your profile and average vote cast, could you please figure out which entries are mine and vote for them? ;)

Welcome, you'll learn a lot here, sometimes even if you don't know it!

It's always good to see a new DPC'er. Enjoy and learn much.
I see that you are a voter. That's a good thing. Voting helps a lot to define what you like in a photo, which gives you a better mental focus on what you actually want to express in your images when you are shooting.

Thanks! Yeah, I've been voting and enjoying it. I'm very anxious to enter some challenges and get my work on here. I put a portrait in the side challenge (unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to do the thumbnail thing so it's a link). But I'm trying! :-) There's another side challenge I want to do as well it's the one (oh I forget the name) where you post images that would have entered but missed the challenge.

(trying not to see B.B. King's guitar)

Looked at your challenge pictures and saw McMinnville.

We're almost neighbors!

Glad I'm not the only Tennesseean in this conglomeration of (how should I put it) characters. (PC enough?)

I think "maniacs" is fine.

Hey Scott - We're not far from one another are we? We might have to go on a shooting outing sometime. :-) Thinking of B.B. King's guitar is fine; but in all truth it's the name of my truck.

Your entry in Delicate II was one of my favs in that challenge.

lol and either way you refer to DPC'rs....characters; or as george said, maniacs or any of the other adjectives you could use....we're glad you found us! :-)

Glad you liked my photo. Heck, anytime I see a chunk of bricks that's been blasted by a shotgun, it brings tears to my eyes. Delicate just doesn't do justice to the deep, emotional feelings.
