does anyone know how to use the grayscale calibration bars? The tutorial only says that they are there... but, how are they supposed to be used? thanks!

i believe that if you can differtiate between the top two white and the top two black then you've got a good calibration. if not, i'm not sure, you need to change your gamma setting and i think that is done different ways through your monitor and or graphics card software.

Here is a simple explanation.
Monitor Calibration Strip
Oh, and I still think the strip needs to be moved further from the images.
