Lightroom just ran its weekly backup and after it opened it tells me it can't find the location of most of my folders and files. They show up in the left hand frame, but without the applicable drive designation (E:/, F:/ etc.) -- just an alpha list of all the folders regardless of what physical drive they are located on.

When I right click to find the location of the missing folder, it tells me no photos are in the folder (they are).

Anyone seen this, know how to fix it, or know how to revert to the prior catalog before it was backed up?

I'm running ver 2.6 on Windows XP. Thanks.

Never mind.

After 20 minutes of scrambling around I noticed that the upper left hand corner said 1.4. I somehow started up an old version of the program, which then went ballistic trying to find everything I'd done in the past two years.

I got a good laugh though. Hopefully you did too. :)

I can feel your huge sense of relief on discovering it's something silly. The number of times I've frozen in fear at something like that only to discover it's user error! Glad it all worked out well.
