Anyone have an example of a shot take with Canon EF 1.4X II Extender Telephoto Lens.
I'd like to see PLEASE.

This one was taken handheld through a chain link fence with that 1.4X extender and a 70-200 f/4L lens (it's heavily cropped, too).

I probably used that same combo for the outdoor animal shots in this old gallery, too.

Thanks peeps!!
Too lazy to weed through all the submissions looking.
I may have to pick one of these up. The results are so much better then I dreamed.I saw one for sale not too long ago and didn't jump on it.

pssst: I just heard about rotary phones too!

You'll need to pick up more than that... Canon's extender only fits on specific L lenses.

One word of warning. Some lens' handle the teleconverter better then others. My 300 handles it very well. My 70-200 F2.8 does not. Image quality really suffers on it.

Here are some with my 300 and the 1.4 wide open at F4.

This is one with my 2X tc and 1.4X tc stacked behind my 300.

This was taken with my Canon 100-400 L lens. I used a Kenko 2X converter So there are some decent options out there. As Shannon mentioned, the Canon extender doesn't work on all lenses.

I used both of my Canon TC's at the airshow this year. They both worked great my Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS lens. Naturally, shots with any TC will be less crisp than shots from the lens by itself because whenever you add glass to the equation you also add diffraction. The 2.0X is softer than the 1.4X, but I still got pretty good results.

These shots were taken with the 1.4X + 70-200mm. Even though the planes were often at a considerable distance and I had to crop some of them fairly heavily, I still got some very usable images...

These next two were also taken with the 1.4X + 70-200mm, and with little or no cropping...
