ok.. couple of questions (probably stupid ones...)

I have a Mac with a Dual core intel processor... I'm buying Noise Ninja from their website reight now and i'm a little confused...

I want the photoshop plug-in

here are the two options:

Pro Bundle
License Keycode

Keycode for both the Photoshop plug-in, the Aperture plug-in and the standalone version of Noise Ninja. Activates all features, including 16-bit image support (48 bits per pixel), batch processing, Photoshop smart filter, and multiprocessing support. Also activates Sideckick background processing mode in the Standalone version. The software can be downloaded here.

and

Home Bundle
License Keycode

Keycode for both the Photoshop plug-in and standalone versions of Noise Ninja (does not work with the Aperture plug-in). Activates 8-bit image support (24 bits per pixel), single-CPU execution. Does not activate Photoshop smart filter support, batch processing, or (in the standalone version) Sidekick mode.

what confuses me is this "Single CPU" support thing... will the home version work with my dual core processor??

also this batch processing sounds intriguing.... will it be useful or not? does noise ninja give you options or does it just have one setting and do it's thing... if it's one setting then betch would be handy, but if it's adjustable then batch might be useless because i might want to adjust the settings for each separate image...

here's the other question... i'm planning on buying a new computer next week (27" iMac) If I install it on this computer will there be any problem having it installed on the other computer as well? do they just email you a lisence that you can continue to use and re-use every time you buy a new computer?

thanks =)

I can't say much about the other subjects, but the single CPU thing (if I am not mistaken, I am not a Mac guy), basically means that the application cannot take advantage of the second processor, it should still run, it just won't be running as fast as it could (not really an issue, as NN is pretty fast anyway).

Cheers,
Cory
