Looking for games that I can download for a road trip. A long road trip! =) Preschool, free, not online play.

All those flash based online games that you think won't work for this? Many will. You can find some of the web sites that have these available for other sites to use and download the SWF (ShockWave Flash) files. Then you can run them in either a browser or, better yet, in a standalone SWF player. Here's one I found with a quick search that is available in both Windoze and OSX versions. Do a search for "swf games download" and you will find many of the games.
If you run across one that you like somewhere else, there are plugins for Firefox that can easily save the SWF file for you. Often you can find them in your "temorary internet files" folder, but that's a bit of manual hunting. |
