I went to a local landscape shop and purchased 1,500 ladybugs...which have since been released in my yard. These little buggers are very, very active and hard to photograph...at one point one of them was either "stunned" or "resting" and I took total advantage of the "hold still, please" position...this was a fun challenge...my family was a little "surprised" to find ladybugs in the fridge (placed there to retard their activity) .... I told them I was looking for a new source of protein...hmmmm
