There are parking lots all over the world, and all kinds of interesting things can happen in one. Just be careful those DPCers in Northern climes esp with Christmas shoppers! |

I like this idea. Very mundane, like powerlines, but I'm sure some great images could come out. I was heading to my car one day after it had rained and there was so much contrast in the sky, and the water on the ground reflected it so well, that it looked like I was on another planet (maybe one with streets made of mercury?). |

parking lots and/or parking garages?
I new a guy who was doing a portfolio of nothing but parking garages. He had actually managed to create some compelling images. |

*shrugs* Well, the main purpose of a parking garage is still to park your car, so I'd imagine it would still count. |

Maybe "parking" in general? Cars parked on the street can be a nice sight sometimes as well, especially if you're in Milan (I was there a few days ago...) or Paris or something. They just fit the landscape very well. And parking garages, and parking meters... |

True. Just call it a parking challenge, and shoot anything (and everything lol) related to parking your vehicle in some fashion. Probably would have twinned well with the Urban Decay shoot! ;-) |

They're awfully photogenic for big blocky things, aren't they?
ETA: Referring to the big parking garages, not the one next to your house. Though that would be interesting, too, with all the junk people keep in them these days.
