The Asian Model Phenomena

Those of you interested in the Fashion Industry may find this article a real eye opener. The whole industry has been turned upside down and what was considered the standard, has been adjusted in to a totally new paradigm.

I remember a model from the late 1990s, can't remember her name but she was incredible...6 ft tall slender Inuit girl, eyes like giant almonds in shape and darkness, her face was a beautiful moon. I saw her doing a spread in I think Vogue. She had blunt-cut bangs and long straight black hair. Her face was easily the widest part of all of her! Gorgeous pix.

Touche !!! LOL, I never expected any less of a come back from the master, I am just a bit diappointed at how long it took you though. Oh...and 'ripping off' is a bit too harsh as I always disclose my 'sources of inspiration' and never pretended to own any creativity.

Well, considering how short-lived a model's career can be, and that this was about uhmm 12 yrs ago...but I may have kept the pages, I had a collage up and at least one of her pix. If I can find it will scan it in.

Are you referring to Irina Pantaeva? She is Siberian Russian.
