I have no idea what kind of flower it is, though, even though I'm the one who took that pic. lol

Link's not working, and the photos's not showing up. Did you try clicking on the little globe icon at the top. You also have to make sure there are no spaces in your URL or it wont shot up right.

Don't have a clue what kind of flower that it. It is cool looking, being like a little globe.

Looks like a Hoya, Ive got one at home. The flower spike may have been messed about with to make it more globular.

As for the photo, I dont think much of it. As a scientific specimen shot, it lacks clarity and is in a very un-natural position (my hoya is a climber, a bit like ivy), and is missing the leaves and stem, which would aid identification. As an art photo, the green stem is too intrusive, and the background ugly. The pink flowers could to be set off against a blue background, and the waxy drips could be used to make the plant sparkle.
