I'm anticipating doing quite a bit of work taking photos with students as they are engaged in round table collaborative discussions - I don't want to use a flash so need a / some fast lenses. I'm thinking that Canon's 16-35mm might be good for this role... Any thoughts on this lens choice for doing this sort of indoor work? Also, I did wonder the TSE 24mm might enable me to capture some of the collaborations going on around the table (by manipulating the plane of focus to encompass collaborators at different distances to the camera). Anybody have any experience in this sort of setting or would be able to put me right on the presumptions I am making?

Many thanks

Paul
