Can this aftermarket lens hood work on the Canon 10-22mm? I know it cost about the same as the origina, but the petals are longer and I'd prefer that. But not if it's going to vignette.

It's going to vignette in the 10-12 range, guaranteed. Maybe even deeper. Or so it looks to me anyway... I do see they are marketing it specifically as for the 10-22mm, at least on that page... But my Canon-supplied petal hood for this lens is MUCH shallower.

| Thanks Rob, I had a feeling it would. I'll definitely just go for the original Canon lens hood. |
