Was out cruising back roads in the rain this afternoon and encountered this Christmas tree of a truck and thought of Jeb...

Merry Christmas, motorhead!

That's not a Jeb truck, it's clean and freshly painted. Needs some rust to be a proper Jeb truck.

Rob't, please put a copy in your workshop folder so we can (ahem) "improve" Jeb's truck....
...please, pretty please?

Man...that truck is missing something, I'm sure someone around here has it..

A simple Alt-Prtscn is all it takes. NOW it's a "Jeb truck"

Good idea. It's in the workshop folks. Decorate Jeb's tree for him willya?

R.

And here's an unedited, straight-from-RAW side view so folks can see what a weird beast it is.

Oh, my! That is strange!
Unfortunately, I've run out of time for edits as I'm packing to leave tomorrow for T-giving trip. But I do look forward to seeing others' interpretations of what Jeb's truck could be...become!

LOL, sometimes ya just can't!

Somebody edit that thing quick, please.
It's giving hybrids/tribrids a bad name.

I think I'd rather be the turd ducker than the turd chucker...

Thanks!

Okay......how do I get it out of the box and play with it?

I just get the 1x1 square.

Should be fine, it's in my workshop so ought not be protected. Click on the thumbnail, then right-click the 800-pixel image and check properties; if it gives 800xwhatever then it's good to copy.

Yeah.....the properties say it's 813 on the one side, I save pic to: and it ends up a 1x1.

Truth be told, this is exactly why I'm so thrilled about all these people who are so concerned about their images being stolen that I can't grab one I'm allowed to.....

Later...I'm tired and going to bed.

It *should* be 780 square, so something weird is going on on your end LOL.

Way more fitting.

SQUARE????

The thumb isn't square......neither is the image I click on.

614x803 43bytes GIF image is what the properties say.

I right click it, save as, and get a 1x1 43 byte square.

ETA: I tried the side view as well, and same thing.....the properties obviously are for the overlay.

The site has seen fit to try and stop people from getting images because so many have screamed about the rampant theft, and they have certainly done so in my case.

I won't fight this......it's something "Everybody" wants and needs, so be it.

I get the 1x1 block on the workshop image too.
11/25/2009 07:49:39 AM · #19
The overlay script was only checking the collection that the image existed in (not its parent collection). You should be able to save these images now without hassle.

I got the same thing; so instead, I just screen-captured.

Ha, well there's the problem... fixed as soon as I explained...

Interestingly, The spatula dude mentions topaz remask in his comments on the side view; I used it on the front view to mask the truck from the BG and blur the BG. Heckuva program.

Geeze, I was looking at the wrong image, sigh. 800x611, sorry. Langdon says it's fixed now anyway :-)

Yeah, when I posted my message earlier right after Langdon all was well (checked to make sure). And yeah, that ReMask is pretty damn sweet to use. All those random pieces I cut out and assembled into there only took a couple minutes each to mask. I wasn't having good luck with v1.0 but 2.0 rocks. It frees up a whole new world of shenanigans because now I don't waste time masking.
