I work part-time in a PC repair shop
Today we ran Bit Defender on a laptop with Windows XP media edition with the following result

Good to know it really is able to detect harmful software.
Seriously, though, was this copy of Windows possibly corrupted or infected?

yeah it's unforunate apple keeps all their issues hidden behind closed doors :)
us windows users have means to see what's happening behind the scenes.
