Thanks for the tip. I usually check them out sometime during the day, but will go have an early looksie.
Sells for just under $30 on Adorama & Amazon.
If I didn't already have an small armload of used Vivitars, I might buy one. On the other hand the ability to compensate for the TTL pre-flash might be handy. Might still get one.

Thanks for the info.. ordered it, don't know how I am going to use it, but $20 (including shipping) wasn't bad for an extra flash! |

I've been keeping an eye out for another slave... think I'll give this a try. If it sucks no big loss. I'm a bit worried by the fact that its not adjustable, but I think it will probably work okay anyway.

The strobist group on Flickr has a post about it. Their general opinion seems to be that it may be useful as an accent flash, but they were generally less than thrilled with it.
