No tweaks this year. IMO the formula that is in place now gives everyone, that participates, a good chance to be within the top 20, top 10 or even a chance to win. So for now (at least :P) I'm pleased with the scoring procedure.

Actually, I think it would be fair at this point to tip our collective hats to SDW for running the FSM each year `por gratis`.

I missed out on this years FSM as I didn`t sign up in time (thankfully as I was far too busy to shoot freestudies for you ungrateful lot) but have signed up for the 2010.

So from me a big "cheers!" and "thanks" for doing all this. Surprised the site hasn't integrated this already - but this isn`t a platform for me to spout off about the shortsightedness and unprogressive nature of DPC.

Apparently he accidentally hit the "U" key when he was pressing the "Y" key. Then realized the mistake and corrected it by spelling his username correctly. Then went back and signed in as the "misspelled" username and said no. I have corrected the error for him.

Simms, thank you for your kind post. Actually I have just as much fun running the FSM as the photographers have in participating. So I should be tipping my hat to all of you for making the FSM a fun side challenge. I am amazed at the endurance all of you have participating month-after-month to complete the marathon each year.

Thinking that twelve pictures, one per month, for twelve months is easy is far from the truth. It's not as easy as it sounds. So I thank each and everyone of you for your dedication.

Wkdesigns, I sorry that registered users can't participate, it's not an FSM rule. DPChallenge.com(s) monthly free studies are for members only and that is the only reason a registered user can't participate.

Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Your name is on the list. Scroll down to the bottom and you should see it. The names are sorted by Time Stamp not A-Z.
The list automatically updates every 5 minutes.
