i was thinking 4 setups simular to these shots and create variables from there   + 1 like a runway shot or something that way we could work on a basic setup and the variables as i thought this type of info would help the most people? just my thoughts 1 setup in each corner so to speak? just thiinking out loud |

Umm......the setup for this one?
It was completely accidental......a dim incandescent bulb in a grimy porchlight fixture over her head.
I could prolly dig up a crappy light fixtue and a 110 cord to bring with me!

Definitely not! Sorry, my last few days have been busy and I didn't manage to get on here.
I never heard back from the other venue, so I'm thinking they weren't interested in having us :-P
We do have the conference room we talked about, and if enough of us can agree on a date, we should be able to keep the cost below $30/person.
The setups idea is a good one - once we're there, I'm open to pretty much anything we stumble into. I know I'm putting together a portfolio of shots I've seen and liked, so we could all do that and then reconvene and figure out who knows how to do what, and we'll learn what we can!

Alright folks, let's get back on track & make this happen! I figure that at this point, we should just opt for the Marywood venue. If we can get enough people to commit, the price shouldn't be an issue - $350 for a full day, even if we get 10 people that's not bad per-person.
What we need to do is pick a date so I can check availability and book the room. How about February 6th, 13th, or 20th? (All three are Saturdays.)
If these don't work for the group, we'll find another date. How's it sound?

| Thats good for me. I was going to suggest a few weeks after New Years. The Holidays can be hard on a figure and I'm sure it would be good to have a few weeks to get back in the gym and work back to my speedo body. |
