I went by what I learned way back in grade 7 or 8: Very Big Giants Yell Or Roar - Violet, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red. I believe Indigo got added in some time in the 1990s.

Indigo has been include long before that. Depends on how you learned it. I learned it many years ago with the acronym ROYGBIV.

But indigo has, since then, removed.

Some sources now omit indigo, because it is a tertiary colour and partly due to the poor ability of humans to distinguish colours in the blue portion of the visual spectrum. According to my daughter, two of her science teachers have also said that indigo has been removed. So I guess if you photo has indigo in it, it's DNMC :P

I'm not participating on this one. Sorry for the low average score, but too many too bad photos in my opinion. And so many CD photos, so boring...
There are however a few really great photos.
