A graduated filter so I could get more exposure on the buildings below without blowing out the fireworks. I took about 110 shots and only had about a dozen that were not blown out, All the shots that were blown out had much better detail in the buildings.

I used the graduated filter in camera raw while processing the shots I posted here so I could beef up the exposure on the buildings without making the fireworks too bright. It helped a little but would have been better had I used actual filters while shooting.
