That was a fun game to watch, I'm sure it was excellent to attend. There were a ton of people there and the fans were even crazy early in the morning for College Gameday.
You've got some great shots of the stadium itself, and I especially like how you incorporated the various ambient elements into the photos.
But boy, you weren't joking about the long part. I saw the thread title, opened it up, and though "epic post" was more fitting."
;)
Good read though. Thanks for the whole write up. |

Interesting story and great quality to the action shots. I'm wondering what your keeper rate was for those. I realize it was dark but even 1/320 is too slow for peak action. Also, consider a fisheye for those wide angle stadium shots. Would have had more impact if they weren't truncated. |

Jason...fantastic story, excellent write up, incredible images. Very nicely done, enjoy that new camera.
edit: Since you were tight on cardspace, probably moot to ask, but: did you record any video clips?

No, I have not tried video yet. Hoping to do that at the next game and hoping to have some more memory to bring along. |

Have they started with dual card slots on the newer Pro-sumer models? I love having two cards in my cameras at the same time. Usually run a pair of 8gb or an 8GB Cf and 4GB sd. Makes life much easier.

Nope...That's one thing I'd like to have on mine. |
