Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00am Sunday morning so turn your clocks back 1 hour. 1 hour will be added when daylight savings time begins again on March 7, 2010. |

...assuming you're in the US. If you're in Europe, it ended a week ago - October 25th, 2009, at 1:00 AM GMT
2:00 AM Western European Summer Time became 1:00 AM Western European Time (equal to GMT or UTC - 1:00 AM GMT/Greenwich Mean Time, 1:00 AM UTC/Universal Coordinated Time)
3:00 AM Central European Summer Time became 2:00 AM Central European Time
4:00 AM Eastern European Daylight Time became 3:00 AM Eastern European Time

Here too, George. Actually, since everyone here has or uses a computer, all they have to do is check the time by it. As long as your machine is in the same place as it's set for, it'll change automatically. |

Well, since Norway is CET, it goes by the CET rule - clock goes back 1 hour on the last Sunday in October, making it UTC+1.

Not necessarily in the US -- the Congress changed the starting/ending dates for DST a couple of years ago, and a lot of devices with the changes pre-programmed (e.g. my time-clock at work) change on the wrong date. |

Also don't forget to check the battery on your smoke detectors. |

We set our clocks ahead one hour about 3 or 4 weeks ago already. Which is cool but now that the states is going to roll back an hour. I have to get up extra early to watch football games on Monday Morning. That is not cool.

Just for the record, it's Daylight Saving Time (note that there is no trailing "s" after Saving). It uses the present participle
