I had occasion on Monday evening to meet up with a gentleman who lives near me and photograph his restored custom '38 Ford Truck. This was the very first vehicle he owned, and he's kept it ever since....


I've been a car freak all my life, and this is an extraordinarily nicely done machine. It was a beautiful day and a nice setting......some days it's great to be a photographer!

a comparison of what it looked like when he actually first bought it would be sweet !

by that i mean - photos of this specific vehicle. not just some google image search...

Well....I dunno if he has the pics from 35 years ago or not....8>)

I do know that a couple years after he bought it, it burned.....HARD.....and he let it sit for almost a decade.

He then spent about twelve years doing this to it.
