This is my first challenge since July. I was feeling really good about my chances until I dropped in on this thread.
I'm at 6.51. Happy, but not ribbon territory. |

Oh, 4s are good i think. Remember, if it wasn't for us 4s propping up the 5s, 6s, and 7s there wouldn't be any ribbons and the whole site would fall apart and everyone would go somewhere else instead. A very valuable service i feel. Anyway, i've got a favourite which is lovely. Mind you, it is late in the UK so i imagine they are drunk.

that's certain;y part of it -- but even then, we're still pretty far behind in normal votes. I got 171 votes in the window challenge, and usually you receive more in the beginning and it tapers off about now. |

Pretty much, and I think we have an influx of high school photographers right now. Often a high school photography class will use DPC challenges as a class assignment. Most of those people don't stick around DPC once the class is over. |

Not a problem, you are simply in compliance with item #24 from The Unauthorized Beginner's Guide to DPC
24. Be careful not to let your DPC obsession cause you to neglect your family; and if you are single, don̢۪t forget to make time for alcohol and porn.
And #36 applies as well.
36. Feel free to get drunk and post in the forums. Just don̢۪t be surprised to wake up the next morning and find yourself in the Rant section.
