Anyone know if we can use it?
I can't find it anywhere and I don't have the time to search all night for it. |

Disappointed I couldn't get an answer to this question before the rollover.
Oh well, I was going to send the person who answered the question a 3.2 Million dollar bonus. |

Never saw it before sorry. Was watching sports.
There's no limit on what *program* you can use; just on what you *do* with it. There are some effects possible with Portrait Professional, regarding "reshaping" people, that might bring you afoul of the rules, certainly.

I didnt see this one either - however - be aware that the newest version of portrait professional actually uses a bump-map effect (texture) when smoothing the skin so that it doesn`t have that `china doll` appearance and still retains pores and texture - this is an added texture so possibly would fall foul of the ruleset - the same goes for catchlights in the eyes - it adds these in under certain pre-sets - so again this would probably be against the rules.
And obviously the face shaping is a definite no-no.
If you dig around inside the portrait professional folder you can find these .BMPs in there. |

We have ample precedent for validating added texture in images as long as it is not a dominant texture. Howevere, it's certainly true that adding catchlights is likely to be a serious no-no.

I *seem* to recall a discussion of this some time ago, pertaining to use of the "liquify" filter, and SC stating that a small amount of body shaping is actually legal... Can't find the reference though.
