You might remember Nadav Kander's photos of Obama's People. Here are some more of his photos in the Long River Series 2006-2007. Depicting a part of modern China, this series won the photographer an award. I traveled up the Chang Jiang river in 1985, long before the Yangtze damn was put in place at Yichang. It was a memorable journey that I recorded on film. I find Kander's work to be interesting and inspiring.

| Really nice photography, feels like the Old and New challenges. The shots have impact and are showing how their new world is basically so...new. |
