You might remember Nadav Kander's photos of Obama's People. Here are some more of his photos in the Long River Series 2006-2007. Depicting a part of modern China, this series won the photographer an award. I traveled up the Chang Jiang river in 1985, long before the Yangtze damn was put in place at Yichang. It was a memorable journey that I recorded on film. I find Kander's work to be interesting and inspiring.

Really nice photography, feels like the Old and New challenges. The shots have impact and are showing how their new world is basically so...new.
