Seriously...let's take a break for a little while. You may resume shooting stupid drops of water in, oh let's say...June.

Thank you in advance for you cooperation.

Well, I hear ya, but this particular water droplet shot is pretty special: for one thing, it's a perfectly0synchronized double-splash, and for another it's *environmental*, it suggest the presence of a landscape, so it's a lot less artificial than most of its ilk. I think William should be congratulated on moving the genre (in DPC at least) to a more satisfying level.

Beyond that, it isn't the *shooters* you should be bitching at, it's the *voters*; we wouldn't see so many of these if they didn't consistently win.

Can't say that I agree with your comments. What I may or may not like shouldn't have any bearing on what you decide to take a photo of.

I like barns and country settings, which is not something everyone likes.

If the user community stopped taking shots of all those things that other members might not like, the type of images submitted might be somewhat limited. Consider that lots of people don't like images of children, pets, snakes, water drops, farm animals, nudity, religious symbols, flags, patriotic images, images depicting violence and suicide, etc, etc, and I am certain that you can fully appreciate just how limited our choices would be.

Happy shooting,

Ray

True...and I really wasn't taking aim at the awesome shot on the front page. I just voted through the 2 new challenges...more water droplets. William's shot is AWESOME, even though a water droplet shot, so no offense meant to that one...now, the rest of you...STOP IT!

Although a bit cliche, The Waterdrop shots are not near as bad as the results of these little buggers, perhaps they could be given a rest also.

Yah, I just started voting triptych and suddenly realized what your target was/is, LOL. Still, in all fairness, triptych + water droplet sequence = very natural fit :-)
