I was just looking at my D70s, and thinking, "Gee, it's a shame that I just don't use this thing any more....".

There's nothing really wrong with it, but now that I have my D200, even though it's really not any newer, pe se, it's decidedly better for me on many levels.

So....my suggestion would be:

Shoot for this challenge with either your "old" camera, or any lesser camera than what you're currently listing as your default camera.

And those of you clever folks that have things listed like the Mattell Barbie Digitasl......you don't fool us, we know what you really shoot!

Yeah, I looked at my Sony Mavica the other day...you know, the one that used floppy disks for a storage medium. At the full res of 1 megapixel (1024x768), I think I was getting 4-5 shots before I needed a new disk. When the wifey and I visited Cancun, I had approximately 250 floppies in my carry-on. The customs officer looked at me like I was insane. He was probably right, of course. ;)

edit: here she is...lol.

My old camera is broke!! This challenge would be prejudiced!! And what about those with only one camera and no old camera! They couldn't shoot for this challenge either. NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No problem for this challenge. I seem to do just as well with my Powershot S5 as with my SLR. In fact my last three 6+ entries were taken with the Powershot. I suppose I should use one of those Barbie glam-cams for this.

So buy yourself that new camera you've really been wanting, and use the old one for this challenge.

I had one 'like' that, 1999 July to be exact. It's now a door stop.

My "old camera" uses film (go look it up kids... I'll wait).... We gonna change the rules for this one to mean that "digital" could be film scan into non-analog form :-) - I mean apparently that is not digital in DPC :-)
