I know I have asked many questions, but I am one of those who wants to make sure that everything goes well. So Here I go.
For those who have shown their work on an exhibit, what is the process on pricing your work?
Do you have certain piece of work worth more than others?
For example, A very popular photo at 16x24 will sell much higher than most others of the same size in your exhibit.
Or do you keep all pricing the same regardless of print, just size.
I have been thinking that the following takes into account when trying to price a photo: Print cost, Taxes, Time to take the photo, Time to plan the exhibit, Wear an tear of equipment, Risk of the money investment, etc etc...
If I am missing something please let me know or if I am totally off. Please also let me know.
I have about a month to get this finished and I just finished selecting my work, now to start thinking of printing, mounting, framing, promoting and pricing.
Thanks alot. I appreciate all the input everyone has given me so far and I always appreciate any new input.
