This is gonna be a really dumb question, but I'm gonna ask anyway...

In the past, I've bought my versions of Photoshop on an actual disk. Makes it easy to install it if there's a hard drive problem or a new computer, and to have it on both the desktop and the laptop. I'm about to upgrade, and am contemplating downloading it instead of waiting for a disk by mail. The question is - how do I load it on both the desktop and the laptop?

The file you download (and save) can be executed on the computer it's downloaded to then copied to the other computer and executed.

Also, create a CD with the downloaded file so you can use it again later if needed and as backup.

In Connecticut, the sales tax is 6% if you get a disk, 1% if you download software. But I think software for use to create websites is not taxed at all if you download it.

So depending on your state's laws, you may have a financial incentive to download the s/w.
