This is gonna be a really dumb question, but I'm gonna ask anyway...
In the past, I've bought my versions of Photoshop on an actual disk. Makes it easy to install it if there's a hard drive problem or a new computer, and to have it on both the desktop and the laptop. I'm about to upgrade, and am contemplating downloading it instead of waiting for a disk by mail. The question is - how do I load it on both the desktop and the laptop? |

The file you download (and save) can be executed on the computer it's downloaded to then copied to the other computer and executed.
Also, create a CD with the downloaded file so you can use it again later if needed and as backup.

personally I would wait on the disc...I like holding the disc...lol

In Connecticut, the sales tax is 6% if you get a disk, 1% if you download software. But I think software for use to create websites is not taxed at all if you download it.
So depending on your state's laws, you may have a financial incentive to download the s/w. |
