I had had this idea in my head since end of last year 2008. I finally have the fire under me to get this done. After doing a little bit of clean-up on
New Year Moon
I decided to play around with several effects. It was not until I did Negative image that I fell accross what I think is as lovely as the original photo
New Year Moon in Blue
Thoughts/critiques?
What have been your happy outcomes just from messing around?

| I'm not sure why...but I like the negative image better than the original. Maybe try the original in true BW??? |

| I also like the negative image. It looks like a computer graphic. I've also noticed that in the original image, the umbrella is kind of an optical illusion. Depending on how you look at it, it can look inside out, or normal. |

Thanks for all the comments...I like them both, but I too, like the negative image a tad more than the original.
Ug, now I am going to have a devil of a time deciding which to put in my 2010 Umbrella calendar. |
